Sunday Launch - Results

  • Where: Gateway City Church, San Jose, Ca
    When: Sunday, March 19th, 2006 at 8:30AM
    What: Park our bikes and worship and generate interest in our club.
     

    • It was a great success!  We arrived there at 8:30 AM sharp and parked four bikes (Moses, Danny, Tom and myself) right in the west foyer!  Also, we had two more awesome bikes show up and they parked right in the west entry walkway.  Bold and brash.  Just like we like it.  Wow!  Of course, we had to lay down some self-adhesive plastic carpet protection for Pastor because everyone knows how much he values the carpet!  IT LOOKED FABULOUS!  And it generated considerable excitement.  It's not everyday you see beautiful motorcycles parked indoors in a church on Sunday morning!  We were thinking about starting them up inside during the announcement of the Open Marketplace Small Groups (of which we are a one) but we realized that with the horsepower and cc's we had, it would leave quite a mark on the walls so we passed on that idea.  It was great!  We'll HAVE to do that again.
